Selen graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in LLB Law. She received numerous awards for excellence including the Tort Law Prize and the Best Student Award. She has completed the BPTC at City Law School with a Very Competent and has been called to the Bar by Middle Temple in 2019.

She has been praised for her analysis skills and her ability to meet clients’ needs after spending years volunteering at legal advice clinics and undertaking pro-bono work. She is also fluent in Turkish and has attended court for various clients to interpret for them.
